The bride and groom went down to greet their guests and kickstart the celebration.

The kickstart turned out to be tears as Mega hugged her daughter and she cried openly. There was nothing unusual about a mother crying at a wedding. It was to be expected because Carolyn would truly be leaving the Su house now. 

Carolyn had been putting on a brave front but it started to crack when her mother cried. Little beads of tears formed in her eyes and Scarlet helped her wipe them away. 

Dorian didn't want them to notice that he was also emotional so he turned his face away and averted his red eyes from their gaze.
