Sungho brought the cup of water to his lips while he spoke to himself. The court lady misinterpreted the conversation she heard from Hyun Sik and Daewon. She assumed that they were about to hunt a big wild animal in the woods.

The drink Sungho consumed cascaded through his throat, giving a cool feeling. He felt fresher more than ever. An audible air resigned from his mouth when the heat waving through his body went away concurrently.

The muffled flapping of wings, faint chirping of birds greeted the new existence of the sun filtering through the orange heavens. It was already morning and Sungho hadn't gotten any rest. He could not have a wink of sleep.
