Steve Burton spoke again: "Don't tell her that someone ordered a car for her. Just send her to where she wants to go and charge her the normal fare. As for the extra money, someone will pay you later."
After hanging up, Steve looked out the window and saw Ruby Gregory happily opening the door to the taxi and getting in. After a short while, the car started and drove towards where she lived.
Steve immediately turned around, pressed the call bell in the private room, swiped his card to pay the bill, and went to the underground parking garage to follow in his own car.
As usual, Steve followed Ruby all the way to her residential complex. He watched her pay the taxi fare, get out of the car and enter the complex. Then, after waiting for the taxi to drive away, he gently stepped on the accelerator, moving his car a short distance forward.
It was almost midnight, and the streets were quiet. Steve sat in his car for a while before his phone rang.
