Azriel didn't say anything as they left the room. And when Zavian was back in his seat and resumed sipping his wine, his friend watched him. Things had gotten out of hand, and Azriel didn't utter a word as to how wrong Zavian was handling matters. Marrying Neera, and imprisoning his own sister, what was going to be the next wrong thing he will do?

It might be unrelated to the situation, but Azriel was gladder than ever that he was a rake.

So he left Zavian to be, and when the time was right; when tempers were extinguished and the dust had settled, he will be back to take his chance to talk with his friend.
