The next day finally arrived, and after finishing their chores, as promised, Max grabbed his camera. Along with the excited Bellsprout, they headed towards their usual spot to start off.
" Alright Bellsprout, our day off begins now." Max was much more relaxed today. No worries of not being a good enough trainer for his pokemon. Today was for him and Bellsprout, and that was all that mattered.
"Bellsprout!" To say the least Bellsprout was overjoyed, a day to have fun and relax was always more enjoyable than constant training; not to say that Bellsprout hated training, but seeing Max frustrated and depressed had saddened Bellsprout, and it firmly promised itself that Max would have fun today, no worrying allowed on its watch(or vines).
" So my friend, what should we do first?" Max decided that since this day was for Bellsprout, then he should decide first.
"Bell Bellsprout." Bellsprout was pointing at Max's camera, curiosity abound.
" Of course, I should explain the camera first. Alright Bellsprout, a camera is basically a machine that takes an image, and saves it for later in its storage."
"Bell?" Bellsprout was confused, save an image, what?
" I guess I'm not the best explainer, so I'll just show you. hmm, ah, ok Bellsprout see that rock between those two larger trees. right, now I point this part of the camera, called a lense, towards what I want to take a picture of. Find the look you want best, then press this button to take the photo." *snap* " and tada, here's the picture."
" BELLSPROUT!!!" Bellsprout was shocked, it looked exactly the same. What move was that?
" Haha. I know amazing right. This means that if there is anything you want to be able to see later without going to it yourself, just ask and I'll take a picture, that sound cool?"
"Bell" Bellsprouts eyes were sparkling, Max might have made Bellsprout a photography lover. Bellsprout immediately started telling Max to take pictures of everything, from trees, hills, the sky, even the pokemon they passed by as they moved around. Everything was worth a picture, Max was happy to oblige, seeing Bellsprout so happy was completely worth it.
Like this the two enjoyed their day off, walking, laughing, just having fun.
However as they walked they didnt notice the dark clouds coming up behind them. It wasn't until the sound of thunder broke the quiet calm that the two noticed how much the weather was changing.
" Oh no, it wasn't supposed to rain today. We better head back quick."
" Bellsprout." No arguments there.
Even with their increased pace the two were soon under the thunderclouds. Then the rain started pouring down, blinding both Max and Bellsprout.
" I dont think we'll make it back before it gets worse, let's find some cover ok bud."
The two found a fairly dry area under a thicket of trees and bushes. Luckily, Max always brought some blankets and a sleeping bag when they went into the woods, so they weren't too cold.
The worst was yet to come however, but not from the weather. Behind Max and Bellsprout, a single red eye stared at their backs. From the way the eye was shaking, one could tell that whatever it was, it was angry, very very angry.
a shorter chapter that I just had to get out quickly. Can anyone guess who is watching Max and Bellsprout?
