I dreadfully walked in Kai's direction and prayed he wouldn't punish me for mistakenly running into Orlando. Nor did I want him to beat up Orlando.
Still, Kai masked his emotions coldly. Nobody could read what he was thinking.
"This is far from over, Kai!" Orlando dauntlessly threatens while glaring at Kai, "I'll get her back!"
Kai evilly sneered before he gently took my hand to lead me out of here. We left the theater and ended up finding Rome's car where he and Gabby were waiting for us.
I scanned the parking lot for Orlando's mustang but more oddly, I didn't find it parked anywhere. How would he get here if he didn't have his car? Unless he was riding with someone else.
I roll my eyes whenever I get in the backseat. It dawned on me that he must be on a date with one of his girlfriends, I inwardly assumed.
Still, it's strange because he always drove when we went on dates. I thought when Rome pulled out onto the main road. Headlights from oncoming traffic lit up the roadway. When they passed us from it being nighttime.
Once we got back to the mansion, after taking Gabby home, Kai took us to the bedroom. The second that door closed, I was stripped from my clothes and then he undressed too. Afterward, he flattened me on the floor underneath him for a great round of sex.

The next day after lunch, I went back to the bedroom and plopped on the couch. After seeing Orlando yesterday, I've been fairly depressed today.

I wiped a tear away from my one eyelid when Kai came into the bedroom. With a laptop and some items on top of it in his hands.
"Hey, my love, why are you in here alone?" He took a seat next to me asking but I was too shocked to answer. From seeing my driver's license, passport, a new black card with my name on it, and my social security card on top of the laptop. Which just so happened to be my laptop!
"M-my...stuff!" Was all I could stammer.
Kai smiled, setting everything on my lap. "I'm giving you some leeway. By giving you back some of your belongings."
I blankly stared at the items on my lap and asked. "But why?"
This had to be a scheme or something he was plotting to bite me in the butt later.
Sincerely, Kai merely whispered, "because you didn't run away with Orlando yesterday. Whether you love me or not, you still came back to me. By doing so, you have earned a bit of my trust."
I picked up the black card since it wasn't mine but it had my name engraved on it in metallic gold lettering. "What card is this?" I asked, facing him.
"It's our new bank account," Kai exclaimed. "I'll have the main account but I gave you back the money you had in your other account before my father closed it."
"Can you close an account without my information?" I stupidly asked when I put my new bank account card down.
Of course, the billionaires have that kinda power. Gabby's father is a millionaire. There is certainly a difference between the two when it comes to having power and wealth. Billionaires certainly run the world over a millionaire. Such is how I got trapped in this marriage from the beginning.
"Yes, we have the power to do that," Kai answered. "And I'll put money on your card that will come from the main one."
"Like an allowance?" I asked,
sarcastically.
"Not necessarily," Kai said, casually. "The main account has over a trillion dollars in it. I'm pretty sure you don't want that type of responsibility to manage such a massive sum."
I choked on my saliva! Did I hear him correctly? There is no way anybody could have that much money!
"Did you find a few biblical treasures like the Ark or King Solomon's treasure?" I asked, being quite serious but Kai chuckled at me.
"No, the family business expanded quite large over the centuries," Kai said, smiling as he leaned back and pulled out this latest edited flat-screen flip phone from his pocket. "You can't have your other two phones because they're on the Mill account. So I put you under our account that we use."
I took my new cell phone and checked it out stunned. I opened up the contacts and saw it was full of numbers. Even Rome's number was listed and everyone else was already loaded on. So it was ready to be used. I even had an app for our bank account on here too.
"Now I can pay back the debt I am in with bills," I said, mindfully.
"It's already been taken care of and paid for in full," Kai informed me and I was so shocked I couldn't speak.
He chuckled and took everything off my lap and put it on the stand at the end of the couch.
"Let's go hang out with everyone," Kai sprang up and took my hand. "Rome is making a ton of pizza rolls and our friends gather to watch this movie called Dracula or something."
"That's one of the vampire classics." I giggled asking. "I guess you haven't seen it?"
"Nope!" Kai chuckled and hurried us out of the bedroom.
