"You're right... I'm not Yuki. I'm his clone, as well as his past."
Listening to Yuki's (Clone) words, Inori blinked several times before tilting her head in confusion. The same went for Tsugumi and Ayase.
"Eh? Clone?"
"I'd like to explain, but unfortunately, we don't have much time. It's time to go."
Sighing with fatigue, Yuki (Clone) smiled bitterly. Although he wanted to explain, time wasn't on his side. After all, his body was starting to crystallize. Despite being a clone, he was still made of flesh and bone, so the virus was affecting him.
Fortunately, Yuki was prepared for this. He had left a clone in Inori's shadow for when this happened.
"Yukin? ..."
Watching his body begin to crystallize, Tsugumi's eyes started to fill with tears.
"Don't worry, Tsugumi. I'm just a clone; I can die as many times as I want."
With a warm smile on his face, Yuki comforted Tsugumi. Unfortunately, his words only made her tears flow faster.
"Enough of this; we don't have time. We have to reach Arisa; we have to be fast."
For his plans to succeed, Inori's intervention was necessary. That's why he had the patience to seduce and control Haruka and Arisa. And time was now his enemy because the longer it passed, the more his original body would suffer.
"Alright!"
"Yes, let's go."
"Um..."
Even though they didn't understand what was happening and why there was a Yuki clone, they knew a lot was at stake. Yuki had already explained part of the plan to them.
"But... The Kuhouin conglomerate is quite far; we need to move quickly."
"Don't worry; I'll take you there."
"Eh?"
Although the Kuhouin conglomerate was fifteen kilometers away from their current location, this distance wasn't much for Yuki. However, carrying three people wasn't easy.
So, snapping his fingers, several white hands emerged from his shadow, catching the three shocked and frightened girls. However, Yuki (Clone) didn't care about their reactions. Swiftly, they were swallowed by darkness, disappearing instantly.

Tokyo was once again in chaos. Ten years ago, the Lost Christmas was a national tragedy that claimed thousands of lives. Now, with the strange song echoing throughout Tokyo, the sky darkened, and simultaneously, several hundred people began to crystallize.
This brought terror and more chaos to Tokyo. OAU soldiers were also in trouble. With the appearance of the Reaper and now this strange song, hundreds of soldiers lost their lives, leaving OAU defenseless. Not to mention that now, they were mere tools for chaos.
But all of this was to revive the queen, and Shuichiro knew it.
*Bang* *Bang*
Hearing several gunshots, Shuichiro smiled. These shots meant that everything was going according to his plans. After a few seconds, the gunfire stopped, and at the same time, doors, cages, and restraints were opening.
"Boss Keido, I've come to pick you up," said an Antibody soldier.
"Good." Nodding, Shuichiro looked at the scattered corpses in the hallway.
(It seems everything was a success.)
The power takeover was complete, so there was nothing to fear. Without caring about anything else, Shuichiro walked to the command room.
In that place was still his precious stone.
"Welcome, Boss Keido."
After a few minutes, Shuichiro arrived at the command room, and of course, the first to greet him was Segai, who had a creepy smile on his face.
"Good job."
Looking at the scattered corpses in the command room, Shuichiro was very satisfied. Even the corpse of General Yan and his secretary was among them.
"However, Boss, we still have a small problem."
"Hm? What's going on?"
"The Reaper is still out there."
Saying these words with a smile on his face, Segai mocked. He couldn't see how GHQ would win this war. From the beginning, the winner was already set in stone. That's why Segai mocked Shuichiro's poor attempt.
However, Shuichiro knew nothing about this. Upon hearing Segai, his face turned pale. If there was anyone who could still thwart his plans, it would be the Reaper.
(I see that you haven't killed him yet... Well, let me lend you a hand.)
Frowning, Shuichiro knew that Yuu was powerful. However, the Reaper wasn't any less; this guy was a complete monster. It could be said that all of this Genomic Resonance plan was to kill the Reaper. After all, the Mole had revealed that the Reaper was very sensitive to Genomic Resonance. So, with this and Yuu making a move personally, the Reaper should be finished.
But he miscalculated. Yuki was indeed in bad shape, but by no means defeated.
So, without wasting a second, Shuichiro took the communicator.
"This is Shuichiro Keido, Antigen Chief. I'm afraid General Yan has died in a terrorist attack. Being the highest-ranking official here, I will assume command... Terrorists have launched a large-scale viral attack on Tokyo. We are in a Level 1 emergency; now, all personnel will be under the command of the Antigens. You must destroy the terrorists.... I repeat: We are in a Level 1 emergency; you must destroy the terrorists."
Shuichiro's voice was heard throughout Tokyo. It was an open channel, after all. So, several people vented their hatred towards Undertaker. Unlike Undertaker, who had a bad reputation in society, GHQ was the law in this country. Shuichiro used this as a contingency measure for the Reaper. Even though he knew the soldiers were just pawns on the chopping block, with the Reaper in bad shape and Yuu on the scene, it shouldn't be difficult to destroy him.
And his plan worked because no matter who they were, they raised their weapons with the intention of destroying the damn culprits of this chaos. Even OAU was persuaded by this. Undertaker's bad reputation was well known, despite having worked together. The large-scale viral attack was a completely different matter.
"It's time to move, Major Segai."
"Understood."
Despite all this, Shuichiro didn't trust it entirely. The Reaper was like a cockroach; no matter how much you attacked him, he always ended up in one piece. That's why Shuichiro wanted to start as soon as possible. So, he quickly took the metal cylinder containing the Apocalypse stone.
However, there was something else that worried him—his sister Haruka. She had disappeared three days ago; her communicator was off, and even her house was empty. It was as if the earth had swallowed her. This gave Shuichiro a very bad feeling.
(No matter, we still have Shu.)
But it was already too late to turn back. Besides, they still had Shu, the Adam chosen by the Queen. So, even if his sister was plotting something, she must appear soon.
"The throne must be completed."
Murmuring, Shuichiro closed his eyes; the door to heaven awaited him.
