บท 75: WORRIED AT HER

I was left speechless at what he said. I looked in his direction with my widened eyes.

"D-Death? C-Cursed? Who would do such a thing to me?" I was left in horror. 

Who would curse me to death? I didn't know anyone here except for those people whom I talked to. Isabela, Jea, and those royal guards are the only ones I know. And knowing that someone wants me dead, confuses me. 

"Shh, love, I'm here okay? I'll protect you." I nodded at his words, feeling his arms wrapped around mine. 

Even though I do believe his words, doubts and worriedness are still in the back of my head. It haunts me, the uncertainty of my life was terrifying. 

"Now, eat first, okay? I will call Jea so that you can have a companion in here, m'Kay?" I smiled and nodded.
