A new pastime for the inhabitants of the Woodrill Plains arose from their constant exchanges during work and break. Whenever there is free time or just any opportunity, one will see groups of mixed moon elves and orcs huddling in the shades of the houses or the trees, exchanging intelligent insights about the latest happenings in their society.

In other words, gossiping.

Of course, the Moon Elf Lord is aware of this. That is why he is out, stealthily spying on the idle workers resting in the vicinity of the roofless canteen.

It is the workers' break time, the perfect time for cliques to gather and talk about the latest happenings the other night. Many things happened in the night when Nicol was finally freed from the terrible fever caused by Soul-Element Resonance. Those events must have fed the public's gossip mill, especially that one with Nicol's personal affair. That is why the Moon Elf Lord is doing this covert mission: to know the pulse of the majority.
