บท 978: The Nightmare Beast

A burnt smell and a miserable scream came from further in the cave. Yun Chujiu saw a monster covered in black fur that was chained by six huge chains. Yun Chujiu took out the Illuminating Pearl and lit it up, she then realized that it was an extremely ferocious-looking monster. It had four eyes, and they had vertical pupils that looked like reptile eyes.

The monster laughed strangely. "So it's a little kid with Heavenly Thunder Root Spirit. I haven't met anyone with a heavenly root spirit for so many years. I didn't expect one to come to me voluntarily today! I'm afraid I want to see how different someone with a heavenly spirit root is from an ordinary person!"

"You can speak human language? What strange 'thing' exactly are you?" Yun Chujiu blinked her eyes and asked curiously.

"So rude! I am not a strange 'thing'! You are the strange thing!" The monster roared.
