I lick my lips for the tenth time since the goods arrived.
"Are you the only one that will eat this?" I frown at Mar.
"Of course. Don't you know that carrying you up and down can exhaust someone? I'm only eating to renew the strength I lost. Can you fault me for that when you are as heavy as a tree?"
"I'm not that heavy!" I fold my arms in anger. "Moreover, you are the one who carried me. I didn't force you to do so, and nor did I ask that from you. You did it of your free will. Then, stop complaining already."
I pinch the bridge of my nose.
"I'm not complaining," Mar frowned at me. "You asked a question, so I answered it."
He cut the roasted pepper chicken, and slowly ate it.
I lick my lips as I watched him.
There was this kind of urge I have, to take the food from him, and eat it all. But I didn't do that. I just swallowed as I watched him eat.
To make the matter worse, Mar hummed as he ate.
