บท 130: The second assassin

"Another death?" Mar paced the floors of the throne room.

"This is the twentieth since your return." The head of the guards bowed as he said those words.

"And they all died the same way the king did?"

"Yes, my prince. They were all poisoned."

"Hmm. This is too much, to be considered a coincidence."

The number of deaths in the palace has been rapidly increasing. It was as if someone, out there, was having the time of their life, playing games with the Royals.

Each time it seemed the crown prince was closer to the killer, another dead person gets discovered.

"I have deployed most of the soldiers, but none seemed to catch a whiff of the assassin."

"He's skilled in scent masking. "

No matter how much the crown prince sniffed, he was still unable to catch a whiff of the assassin's scent.

"Do you think he has a purpose?"
