บท 146: The Prince's Feelings

Helena secretly smirked in disgust. However, she tried to hold her anger and keep her emotion in control. She had to remind herself that the man before her was the Crown Prince of her country.

"He endangered me? Well, whether that was true or not, it's not your concern, is it?" Helena remarked. "I don't want to act like an ungrateful person because you tried to save me back then. But if only you hadn't intervened, you wouldn't have been hurt. I would be the one dealing with the problem."

The prince's expression turned grim. He desperately wanted to admit how much he cared for Helena and didn't want anyone, even his own cousin, to harm her. However, he couldn't bring himself to do it.

"Look closely! You are the one meddling with my business and you make it a national issue!" Helena swallowed the word: how silly. "My husband and I are dealing with this problem and you come to mess everything up. Do you even realize that my family name is at stake?"
