Helena's hands were trembling, and she broke into a cold sweat. What the guards had just told her had left her even more shocked. Wasn't there supposed to be a trial? Why immediate execution?
"As far as I know, Lord Ethan has not yet had a trial. Why is he suddenly scheduled for execution tomorrow?" Helena asked without hesitation, voicing what was on her mind.
