After what it felt like a long time, the great halo slowly faded away and along with it, the blinding light that stung one's eye gradually disappeared as well. The sky that had been lit up just a few minutes ago returned to its original state. The night once again dominated the empire as if the previous light had been but an illusion.

A normal person might've not noticed it, however traces of mana distraught still lingered in the air as a reminder of what had happened just now. The powerful wave of magic that came from a top class magic spell was still vivid in their head, especially for a sensitive sorcerer like Duke Balzac as well as his sons.

The tingling feeling in their scalp and the goosebumps running on their skin as the scattered mana from the spell came into contact with their bodies was something that the duke and Tristan had never experienced before. When the light had faded away, the look of shock on their faces was too clear to be ignored.
