บท 240: 239 – Meeting the Professor

Wade and his professor had not yet arrived when Ren and Fang reached the restaurant.

"Should we wait outside for them?" Ren wondered.

"No need," Fang said firmly. "It's a bit windy outside today, and I don't want you to catch a cold. If they can't find the place, Wade will call you anyway, so there's no point in troubling ourselves and waiting outside!"

Ren chuckled and allowed Fang to lead him into their exclusive private room in the restaurant. Fang even ordered a bottle of Ren's favourite wine and hors d'oeuvres. 

Ren let him do as he pleased. After all, it wasn't their fault that Wade was late, so why should he stop Fang?

Wade arrived with a tall man in tow – almost twenty minutes late.

"Sorry, Big Brother!" Wade apologised as soon as he entered the private room. "I made a mistake when driving and we ended up going around in circles for a bit before getting back on the correct road. I'm really sorry that we're late!"
