Amidst the tense atmosphere of the room, Jian became the center of attention upon hearing Rio's words. However, none of them knew that Rio was merely testing Jian.

As if waiting for the tension to reach an unbelievable height, Jian finally broke the silence.

"Yes, I will report it now."

No one responded to his polite words since they were much more interested in the reports that could intrigue Rio. But they did nod in approval of his words to not appear rude.

"As you all are aware, I was tasked to verify the movements of demon beasts near our city and try to bait some spies from other cities to reveal themselves."

"I couldn't find anything for the latter issue because the first one itself took away all my time."

Hearing Jian's words, everyone's expression in the room shifted, with the atmosphere taking a somber tone.
