บท 26: Cathleen's Feeling
Zed is training the two girls in his own ways happily, but without him knowing someone is watching him with a detestable gaze.

In a luxurious mansion somewhere in the Taztarus Kingdom.
"What?! there is a kid that strong?!" said a man in his forties with an unbelievable look on his face, He wears a dazzling robe that with a glance anyone who sees this robe will think the man is noble.
"Yes father, If he continues to grow I'm afraid that a new big city will emerge and resources given by the Taztarus Kingdom will be further divided" Answered a young man that looks about twenty years old He has a jet black short hair, His body is lean and his face looks like a snake which makes people wary of him.
"Have you done an investigation on his background?"Asked the middle-aged man.
"All the information I gathered is that he arrived at Eplodon City a year ago, I can't find all related information regarding his life before he arrives at Eplodon City, He comes here with a girl named Fabiola".
"Eplodon City? Hah! let's just kill him. This can't happen, Find a way to lure him out of his mansion and let me handle the assassination." ordered the middle-aged man to his son.
"As you wish father" while nodding his head.
Meanwhile, Zed is given the notice to meet one of the commanders of Lovlarix, Because he will attend the elite class he will need to meet the commanders one by one to be assessed.
"Fabiola, I will be out for a week probably. Don't slack on physical training, make sure to record your training using Record stone you can buy it in the Central Shop, I'll check it when I get back."
Hearing this Fabiola limp to the ground.
Just as Zed walks out he turned back and said to Fabiola, "be sure to take care of this mansion properly and don't forget to accompany Cathleen when the new oracle arrive"
Fabiola gives Zed a sweet smile and nods, while Cathleen has a complicated look on her face.
After Zed leaves, Fabiola and Cathleen do their own thing.
In this mansion, Zed and Fabiola sleep together in the master room while Cathleen sleeps alone in another room.
Inside Cathleen's room, Cathleen sit on her bed and started to cry.
"Why?... Why do you only have her on your eyes? Why can't you look at me? I'm as good as Fabiola in every aspect even better" She murmurs to herself with tears falls like a waterfall decorating her face. "Since you saved me from that assassin, I started to like you even more and finally I can convince my father to ask you to take care of me so that I can get closer to you, but why can't you at least give me some attention?'

In the Military Quarter of Taztarus Kingdom.
Zed arrived after walking for about thirty minutes, The distance between his mansion and the Taztarus Kingdom Palace is not far but Zed just walks slowly while enjoying the bustling city.
Zed is checked thoroughly by the Palace Guardians, Zed cannot resist at all because they are all True Knight Rank or True Mage Rank which is the strongest person Zed ever saw.
Noble Knight Rank and True Knight Rank has a massive gap between them because True Knight has assimilated with all attribute frevor so they are all-rounded fighters with no weakness, While True Mage has comprehended two basic elemental frevor to its peak.
He then brought by the Palace Guardians to see one of the commanders specialized in Artillery, Sir Leonardo Anworth.
Arriving at the commander's place, Leonardo greets Zed with open arms. "Ah, you must be Zed Lenvers the young knight who triumphs against a full-fledge Lovlarix come, let me see you" He then waves his hands asking Zed to come closer.
Just as Zed comes closer the commander brings out his dagger and slash aiming at Zed's blind spot, Zed reacts fast he blocks the commander's hand using his elbow. Zed becomes wary of Leonardo.
The commander's raise his eyebrows in delight, "I like you so far, a knight shouldn't let down his guard especially in close-quarter because that's where we're good at. Nice reflex kid".
Zed calm himself down and follow the commander to a sofa, "I am one of the great commanders of Taztarus Kingdom, Sir Leonardo Anworth, I specialize in artillery section. I heard that you have amazing spear-throwing skills and also you can imbue your skills with thunder frevor...Is that true?" asked the commander with a curious look on his face.
"Yes Sir Leonardo, I am a bit capable of spear throwing," said Zed modestly.
Hearing this Sir Leonardo laughs loudly, He then said "I thought that you will be arrogant considering you show off skills in the recruitment process, never had I ever thought that you are modest"
Zed spends his day while answering the commander and touring the artillery section, Sir Leonardo explains what do the artillery section do.
The artillery section will be divided into three departments the first one is the magic department where mages will use their long-range skills to attack an enemy that is weak in magic defense, The second department is consist of Warriors with long-range skills such as spear throwing, Axe throwing, sword beam, the last one is the versatile department which will be the defensive line that will guard the artillery department when the enemy breach the infantry section.
With that, the day passed.
Zed is sleeping in the artillery section barracks to familiarize himself with the environment.
The reason why the commanders want to see Zed ability and personality is that they will have to decide which section will Zed assigned to, So Zed has to familiarize himself with every section environment. There are four sections which are Artillery, Cavalry, Infantry, and Military Tactics.
Meanwhile, In Zed's mansion, Cathleen just woke up with puffy eyes because she's crying all night.
She washes up then decide to take a stroll to relax her mind, She locks the gate using a magic enhancement lock that will make the gate sealed and then takes a decision to go to a tailor shop.
Just as she walks for about five minutes, she bumped into a guy because she was oozing on the road, with a thud Cathleen fall flat on the street ground.
The just-risen sun shone brightly on the kingdom streets, bringing with it a flurry of early morning activities on the lively streets. Golden fingers of sunlight lit up the streets this scenery breaks the appearance of a thin young man clad in a sea-blue robe, His ears are pointy with sharp eyebrows making him looks like a snake.
"Beautiful lady should not ooze off in the morning," He said with a cheery smile while reaching out his hand to help Cathleen up.
Cathleen accepts his hand to help her get up, After getting up he continues "Why are you so solemn in this good bright day?"
Cathleen lifts her head and answers, "Nothing really".
The man replied while maintaining his cheery smile, "Cheer up, people say I am a good listener do you want me to accompany you? Don't worry let's go somewhere crowded to talk, so you will not be suspicious of me".
Cathleen thinks for a while, 'Why not' She thought.
Cathleen agrees, then they both talk to each other while heading to a local inn where they can talk and drink if needed.
"Oh forgive my manner let me introduce myself, My name is Claus. What is your name, beautiful lady?", Ask Claus.
"Cathleen... Cathleen Asquith" Cathleen answered timidly.
Arriving at the local inn, Cathleen and Claus seat at the corner of the inn as they talk.
"So are you here for the Lovlarix Recruitment?" Claus asked curiously.
"Yes, I come here from Eplodon City. Are you here for that too? Where are you from?" Cathleen questioned to keep the mood light.
"Oh, Yes I am, I'm confident that I will be accepted as a Lovlarix. I'm from Jestin City" Answered Claus, his eyes slightly go rounder when he heard Cathleen says she's from Eplodon City.
The light talk goes on for a little bit until Claus asked why Cathleen has puffy eyes.
"Well I didn't tell anyone about this but I think i need to tell someone to relieve the feelings inside me, Do you have the time to listen to my story?" With a serious look on his face, Cathleen asked Claus.
"Tell away", Claus said with a dependable aura around him with a little bit of curious look on his face.
"So this is the story, I started to like someone when he saved me from an assassin, he is hurt because of the assassin, hurt both physically and mentally" While telling this Cathleen's face contains a pained expression.
She then continues, "I feel bad, in fact really bad because of that event he coped up inside his mansion ever since. Now he's back to normal but I cannot help but feel the guilt inside me growing, I liked him ever since he saved me but...He already has a girl. I tried to be beside him hoping that someday he will look at me as a woman and at least make me his second girl but that day never came until this day, He didn't even care to give me any attention and now I feel empty, guilty, and rueful".
"It's okay to make mistakes, in life, you will need to work to get what you want. Do you want me to help you? I can help you to make the man that you like to break up with his girl" Claus statement is attracting Cathleen's interest, She immediately nods her head.
Cathleen starts to cry amidst the bustling crowd, she then ordered Mead* to vent all her feelings, Claus accompanies Cathleen to drink and console her once in a while.
She then slumps to the table and murmurs, "Zed why don't you look at me..".
Claus smile cunningly when he heard Cathleen say 'Zed', His face turns Savage and Evil, 'Here I am confused, thinking how do I get Zed to get out of his mansion, Evidently, the way comes to me instead' He thought.
