Kevin cautiously turned the doorknob and stepped inside the old wooden structure. The Tennysonville farmhouse was an old country-style two-story house with a gabled roof, moldy walls, and a creaking wooden floor. The place had seen better days in the past, but now all that remained of the sprawling structure was a rotting wooden carcass overgrown with vines and creepers.

Where Solis had been overrun by machines, the Great Dust Bowl had remained untouched. With most of the original inhabitants dead or displaced, the wasteland had slipped back into the hands of nature. The farmhouse had fallen into such a state of disrepair that even the Raiders seemed to have ignored it completely.
