บท 48: Hounded

Kevin and Suzy were trapped in a tight spot. On the speedway behind them, stood the saw-wielding death machine, while the road in front was being prowled by a pack of dangerous hunter robots. 

During the machine invasion, the Zaphounds had been deployed to hunt down all human civilians hiding in the ruined buildings and parking lots. These robots always hunted in packs which made them even more dangerous. If one ran into one Zaphound, it was a sign that others were lurking nearby.

Suzy counted eight hounds in the pack, all searching the ruined buildings nearby. Luckily, they weren't led by a Galvatron, the oversized robot wolf that usually accompanied the Zaphounds during hunts.

"I don't know how you want me to take out all these dogs without firing my main weapons. This is never gonna work out," Kevin said, carefully watching the hounds as they went about their business unbothered.
