As Aaron met the sweet sight of the dark midnight sky, he felt a sudden peace waving through him. The hazy sky followed by the sliver things, mortals called stars, caused him peace. Back home, stars weren't a thing. Stars didn't exist, which only made him appericate the sight more. The sky and air worked differently back home, which at that moment, he'd finally got a better appreciation for Earth. A sudden old feeling, for how much hatred had been swimming through his body, the moment he set foot on Earth. He had no desire to like even a single thing. The grass was stupid, the flowers weren't even comparing to the exautic flowers and plants he'd seen back home, and the clouds, and weather were all so sudden. It hardly rained where he was, and it got so dark so quickly. But as he began to realize, Earth truly was beautiful. In its own way. Aaron couldn't believe what he was feeling, a sudden chance in his personality, was one he didn't think he'd ever needed. A much kinder appreciation, instead of being so miserable towards everything.
Guess it was true. He could still go on living, even if Alec wasn't there beside him.
As he felt the sudden and recent burns along his body, start to hurt less and less, as the pain became almost nothing, the tiredness along his face, surely going worsened. He was exhausted. Wishing he would just drop dead right there in the middle of the sidewalk, never became such a hoping thing for him. His body was feeling the exhaustion, of the sudden power he'd just unleashed. The lighting? His first clue was to try and understand each and every thought, on how'd he gotten it, but his brain, now, just wasn't wanting too. The matter simply didn't need addressing. A simple gift from god, to replace the powers he'd lost, was a good enough explanation for him. At that moment at least. Soon, he'd want a real explanation.
As he came to a stop, where his legs wouldn't obey him anymore, he settled with falling asleep in a small box. Which from the corner of his eyes, hidden behind his vision, were many different sizes of brown boxes. Which as he turned around to look, found a pretty big one. The only big one, so it was going to have to do. As he settled towards the boxes, while crawling to them on his knees, he could feel the wet sidewalk underneath his palms, as he made it into the box.
He was a small human being, so the room inside the box, looked to be enough. And once he was fully inside, he reached through the opened part of the box, as he carefully slid the arms shut. Hiding himself from the world, so know one would know he was inside.
Being homeless, was certainly not on his agenda, but to tried to care, was enough to let him settle, with empty thoughts. As he closed his bright blue eyes, the tired blowing of the limitless wind, came through the arms of the box, and waved past him. The cloak pressing against his body, from the tied planes that kept the cloak in place, moved slightly. But before his body could be exposed to the cold air, he shifted himself, grabbing the ends with his arms, as he hugged them closely towards his chest. He didn't notice it at first, but his lip and the parts of his arms that were visible, had started trembling...or shaking. Either way, the sign was clear to him. Paris is extremely cold at night. Hugging himself for warmth wasn't going to be enough to get through the night. He knew that. But fighting how tired he felt, wasn't a battle he wanted to take on.
So as he tried to ignore his bodies wishes, he'd been careless to notice, a faint small shadow, standing over the box. He could make it out from the small opening, and slowly and surely, lifted his arm out through it. Without even a even notice, he felt a tight grip on his arm, that sent him through the opening, as he landed outside of it. Painfully landing onto his stomach, with his arm still being held onto by something. Something extremely strong.
''Hey.....'' He whispered in a muffled tried tone. As he pulled to have his arm let go of, he managed to get free, as he pushed himself to a sitting position. Rubbing the side of his head with his fingers, with his eyes firmly shut, from the tiredness. Refusing to open them, until he smelled the sudden scent of burning fire. As he smelled the burning fire right next to him, he was quick to react. Jumping to his feet, with his arms pressed out in front of him, acting with the sudden rush of waved red lighting, as it surrounded his entire body, he got himself ready. Another fight, he could take.
''Stop using your borrowed powers, to get into these stupid fights. Its so stupid, have some responsibility.'' A female voice hissed towards him. As he had the time to adjust his vision, he caught himself, as he stared out in front of him. With a little bit of confusion along his face, he saw a teenage girl, standing right in front of him, with a very displeased look.
She was much taller than he was, practically having to look up at her, or he'd have missed her entirely. With long bleach blonde hair, that hung loosely over her shoulders. The most beautiful blue eyes he'd ever seen, in a black and white patterned outfit, with a long pair of black shoes, that stopped at her knees. She had bright white skin, and her ears appeared to have been pierced. Recently, for how bruised they appeared. Mostly around the corners. She appeared weak at first, but took no chance to appear weak. In front of him, and around the few people left walking along the streetway, she was desperately trying to hide that fact.
''Who are you?'' He whispered. The girl looked at him with disgust, then let out a disappointed sigh at him.
''I expected more than this, some manners at least.'' She mumbled. ''I let you borrow my powers, and you turn out to be someone rude, and undeserving of them! Geez.....why does this always happen to me! Think, you trying to be helpful, and save someone, and they turn out to be rude and stupid with them....''
''Rude and stupid? No! I'm not rude, nor am I stupid!'' Aaron tried to fight back, to defend himself. His actions truly were simply cause he was tired. This time, he truly wasn't trying to be an asshole...
''I just had an argument with someone in the alley, a few seconds ago, I'm a little tired, excuse my rudeness.''
''An argument? It seemed like more than that to me. Seemed more of a battle....with powers? Huh?'' The girl rose her eyebrow towards him. Signaling to him, that she indeed knew he possessed abilities.....Letting out a well deserved sigh, try as best he could to hide the fact that he was still extremely tired, he tried to act surprise at first, but dropped the playful act, once he realized, the trail wasn't going to end. There was no convincing her, what she'd seen hadn't been truly real.
''I'm just gonna drop the stupid act now....'' He breathed. ''So, you've seen my powers, what now? Are the police gonna come here, to arrest me? I'm sure you've already told millions of people by now, am I right?''
''Actually no. I haven't told anyone, and I could care less about telling anyone. That would be just stupid on my part, considering, the powers you have, are because of me. I allowed you to have them.'' She hissed. ''Don't think your so special...'' She hissed annoyed.
Aaron let his painful expression fade from his face, as with little energy he had left, his eyes widened, as the dark circles underneath his glowing eyes, plused, and throbbed, partially acting as if his eyes were going to start watering, if he didn't receive sleep right away. His body was always super serious about the time of missing bed time.
''You gave me these powers?! But-why? What did you gain from recusing me from that guy?''
''I don't gain anything from saving your life, I just, couldn't watch as you were killed. That's not how I role. Most people don't want to just sit back and allow others to die...I'm not a monster! You were in danger, and I thought maybe in the future, you'd might me with something..''
''With what? As you can see, I'm kind of beaten right now.....''
''I can see that. I don't mean right now, I'm saying somewhere in the future.....Once you're able to return to your home, and leave Earth.''
''You know I'm not from here? How?!'' As Aaron fought to make sense of everything he was getting, nothing could feed him with the satifusing answers he wished for. Nothing he tried to tell him, was ever going to be enough to explain the strange girl. Which only saddened him more.
''I don't have the full answer for you, I could just tell, your behavior wasn't human enough. Certainly not a human...Humans don't try and fight back, especially against someone with black flames, and an extreme desire for murder.''
''As it were, I'm not a resident of Earth. I come from a planet, called Nation Valley. And there, my species is known as warm and cold ones. I was a cold one, before my powers disappeared, and I was stuck on Earth, unable to return....'' Aaron sighed.
''Stuck? Why can't you go back home? Anywhere has to be better than Earth.'' She groaned.
''Well you see? The air on my planet is much different than the air here. Its toxic to humans, which means, I'm basically human now. And I'm unable to return home, till I get my powers back.''
''So? That would explain why you were trying to sleep in a box? You have no home, to go back too? Right?''
Aaron simply nodded.
''Well, maybe you'd like to come back and stay with me? At my house? It's pretty small, but I have a couch You could sleep on it. If you wanted too.''
''That's be wonderful!'' Aaron smiled, as he comfortably reached his tried, sore, arm out to handshake the girl. Who right on command, pushed his arm away from her. Aaron frowned as she did this. Seeming offended.
''Don't take it personally, if I touch you, the power I've given to you will return to me...So for a while, I can't touch you.'' She smiled, as the two headed down the sidewalk. The distance, streaming, cold wind pressing into their faces, as Aaron tired his best to ignore the sudden chance in painful weather. How he wished the forever warmth back home, and the no such weather patterns, that made the white thing called snow.
And as he thought as he walked, the missing feeling, for the hybrid prince, continued to stab him. The pulsing memory that kept coming into his brain, was one that twisted his emotions. Edward suffering. Was truly a memory he wanted to disappear, as quickly as possible. Lucky for him, he was pushed from his thoughts almost immediately, when he heard the young girl ask his name. In a weakened state, his voice came out weak, and unbarring to himself. His ears, hated the sound of his normal high voice, now, they truly had a reason to hate it.
He sounded like a dying cat. Which only made him want to talk less and less. But as friendly as the girl was towards him, he refused to be rude, so he quietly answered.
''I'm Aaron Channing.....and you are?''
''Nia Amiyah, at your service.'' She laughed, a great wide smile on her face. As her bright baby blue eyes sparkled, as Aaron was sure, he'd seen a shooting star, passing over her head. He was sure, he'd found a new friend....which only grew the revamped version of his feeling towards Earth. The place truly wasn't all bad. Even if for the mean time, he was stuck there...
