Title: "A Mother's Joy"
God of Illusion Proxy Mirari burst through the door, her face alight with excitement. She rushed to her son, Kairos, sweeping him into a tight embrace. "Kairos, my darling! I'm home!"
Kairos's face flushed with embarrassment as his mother showered him with kisses. "Mother, stop! Father, help!"
His father, Kaelin Darkhaven, chuckled, entering the room with a warm smile. "Ah, Mirari, I see you're home safe and sound."
Mirari shot her husband a withering glance. "Don't even think about it, Kaelin. I will never let him go."
Kaelin held up his hands in mock surrender. "I wouldn't dream of it, my love."
Kairos rolled his eyes, extricating himself from his mother's grasp. "Mother, what's going on? You're acting strange."
Mirari's expression turned serious, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "The meeting was a success, Kairos. We're having a Tournament of Power, and you'll be representing our temple on Ted's team... alongside Ares's daughter, Eira."
Kairos's eyes widened, a mix of nerves and anticipation on his face. "A tournament? That sounds amazing! But also a bit scary."
Mirari's face softened, her eyes shining with pride. "You'll do wonderfully, Kairos. I have every confidence in you."
