His thoughts were cut by a knock on his desk. He turned to see Alex in his office.

“Are you ok?” Alex asked. “I was standing here for over five minutes, and you did not notice.”

“I am so tired. I did not hear you, apologies.” Rayan replied.

Alex and Rayan were not close friends, but they were best colleagues. They met a long time ago before Rayan moved to this branch. Rayan was located at the headquarter. Whenever a recruitment campaign, training, or special event occurred, Alex used to go to the headquarter. By the time he became acquainted with Rayan, and they both established a good relationship.

Alex knew that Rayan was a confident person. A person who knew what he wanted and always managed to get it. Rayan was very ambitious and optimistic. At the same time, he was the funniest person Alex met.
