Without a transcendent, the giants would be devoured by the other races, and as a super race, they would completely decline, eventually dissipating into the universe, becoming part of history. 

In the vast universe, the ancient realm, once powerful enough to suppress all other races, was an example. 

Realms like the divine realm, the heaven realm, and even the Ancient Demon Realm—didn't they also dissipate? 

They, along with the immortal realm, became this Immortal Burial Ground.
