บท 111: One Foot in N Boats
"Eriri, it's been a while! Come on in." Seeing Eriri standing at the door, Kanoko Hasumi's eyes lit up, and she quickly beckoned her inside.
Kanoko Hasumi still had a very deep impression of Eriri. Setting aside her unparalleled beauty, the fact that she openly declared her sexual orientation in front of the entire class on the first day was more than enough to make her unforgettable.
Turning her gaze to Arifureta and Shea, who were with Eriri, Hasumi recalled the notice she received from the principal yesterday. Understanding dawned on her, "These two must be the new transfer students coming today?"
"Yes, that's right. I'll leave them in your care, Hasumi-sensei."
"Of course, that's my duty."
After entrusting Arifureta and Shea to Kanoko Hasumi, Eriri made her way to Class 1-E, a classroom she hadn't visited in a week since the school year started.
Eriri's return naturally caused a huge stir. She hadn't been to school since the second day after the start of classes. Although Kanoko Hasumi had told the class that Eriri was on leave, many students feared she had transferred, which left them disappointed for quite some time.
Normally, the first few days in a new class are crucial for students to get to know each other and form their own groups. Now, with a week passed, most social circles had already solidified, making it hard for newcomers to integrate.
But this didn't apply to Eriri. Whether it was the boys or the girls, no one had any intention of excluding her; in fact, they were eager to build a good relationship with her. Especially among the girls, there was nothing but warm and friendly glances directed at her; jealousy didn't even seem to be on the radar.
Arriving at her seat, Eriri greeted Megumi Kato before noticing Kiyo Ishimaki and Azusa Satomi approaching her with smiles on their faces.
Even though they hadn't been in touch for a week, it hadn't affected Eriri's place in their hearts. In their eyes, today was the happiest day of the week just because they got to see Eriri at school again.
"Eriri, you're finally back! Long time no see."
"Eriri, long time no see."
"Long time no see, Kiyo, Azusa." Eriri greeted them with a smile. "You both look even cuter than before!"
Her compliment made Kiyo Ishimaki and Azusa Satomi both happy and a little shy. Their smiles grew even brighter. After some friendly banter, the two returned to their seats.
With no one else around to interrupt, Megumi Kato leaned forward, placing her head on her desk, and the two began to whisper.
"Eriri, are Yue-chan and the others here yet?"
"They are, they're in the office right now. Hasumi-sensei will bring them to the class in a bit. How did you know they'd be coming today?" Eriri rested her head on her left arm while using her right index finger to lightly tap Megumi Kato's lips.
Eriri was a little surprised that Megumi Kato knew Arifureta and Shea would be coming to school, considering she hadn't mentioned it when they went shopping two days ago.
"Yue-chan contacted me yesterday. We often chat online. I'm amazed at how knowledgeable Yue-chan is about modern things; you'd never guess she's from another world," Megumi Kato marveled. Through their interactions over the past couple of days, she and Arifureta had become close, like sisters—both in the literal and figurative sense.
Watching Eriri's finger playfully tapping her lips, Megumi Kato took the opportunity to gently open her mouth, letting her tongue slip out to lick the tip of Eriri's finger. A blush began to spread across her cheeks as she savored the moment.
Eriri wasn't surprised by Megumi's behavior. She even pushed her finger deeper into Megumi's mouth, teasing her tongue for a few seconds before withdrawing it, leaving a trail of sparkling saliva—a scene that seemed quite suggestive.
Since their heads were close together, blocking everyone else's view, the rest of the class assumed they were just sharing secrets, unaware of the intimate teasing happening.
Eriri slid her finger into her own mouth, tasting the sweet flavor of Megumi's saliva, making Megumi even more flustered, her blush deepening.
Pulling her finger out, Eriri smiled, "It seems like you and Yue-chan are getting along well. That puts my mind at ease."
Eriri looked relieved. To be honest, she had been worried about potential friction within her growing harem. But seeing that Megumi and Arifureta were getting along so well, it was a good start.
As they whispered and exchanged gestures, the bell signaling the start of class rang.
When Kanoko Hasumi entered the classroom, the noisy chatter gradually subsided.
"Good morning, everyone. Today we have two transfer students joining our class. I hope you'll all be kind to them," Kanoko Hasumi announced from the podium.
As soon as she finished speaking, the class erupted in a wave of excitement. The room buzzed with speculation, as no one had heard any rumors about transfer students before.
"Two transfer students at once, and they're both in our class? That's crazy!"
"I hope they're cute girls."
"Maybe they're handsome guys."
"Cute girls, cute girls, cute girls…"
The students' hopeful guesses and wishes filled the air, and Kanoko Hasumi was quick to reveal the answer.
"You can come in now."
Under the eager gazes of the students, the door to Class 1-E opened again. Arifureta and Shea, both in their school uniforms, walked in with smiles.
The moment they stepped inside, the classroom fell silent. As the two stood at the podium, the boys erupted in cheers.
"Alright, everyone quiet down," Kanoko Hasumi clapped her hands, silencing the excited boys. Turning to Arifureta and Shea, she said, "Arifureta-san, Shea-san, please introduce yourselves so everyone can get to know you."
"Sure, Hasumi-sensei."
Arifureta stepped forward, flashing a sweet smile at Eriri and Megumi before addressing the class. "Hello, everyone. My name is Aletia Galdea Vesperitio Avatarl, but you can call me Arifureta. I already have someone I like, so please don't bother me."
This statement caused the boys' hopes to be crushed, and they collectively groaned in disappointment. Shea's introduction only deepened their despair.
"Hi, I'm Shea Haoria, and I also have someone I like." After speaking, Shea glanced at Eriri, her energetic voice filling the classroom as she waved her hand cheerfully.
"Alright, your seats…" Kanoko Hasumi began, but before she could finish, Arifureta and Shea made their way to where Eriri was sitting, using a subtle magic hint to switch seats with the students in front of and next to her.
Kanoko Hasumi, momentarily taken aback by their sudden action, quickly composed herself and didn't say anything further. She began the morning lesson.

Once the morning class ended, and Kanoko Hasumi left the classroom, the female students immediately gathered around Arifureta and Shea. The male students, on the other hand, looked over with a mixture of hope and unease.
Some boys, driven by both courage and the desire to "steal the spotlight," approached Arifureta and Shea, attempting to strike up a conversation. However, they were elegantly ignored by the two girls.
After dealing with the enthusiastic girls, Arifureta and Shea quickly moved over to Eriri's side, greeting her and Megumi warmly.
It was only then that the class began to realize that these two new transfer students already knew Eriri—and quite well, it seemed. Watching them interact so closely, and recalling Eriri's earlier announcement about her preferences, some students wore puzzled expressions.
"No way..."
"Could it be that they like Eriri?"
"That's very possible. And remember, Eriri said she liked girls on the first day. Maybe they're a couple?"
"But... if that's true, there are three of them. Are they in a three-way relationship?"
"Who knows? Maybe even Megumi is involved with Eriri. Just look at how close they were before class."
"Wow, this is some next-level stuff—three girls, one boat, huh?"
Despite their attempts to keep their voices low, the whispered discussions among the classmates were perfectly audible to Eriri and her friends.
Upon hearing someone suggest that Eriri was "sailing three boats," both Arifureta and Megumi shot Eriri a playful, knowing glance. While Shea might not have known, Arifureta certainly did. After all, she was aware of the other members in the chat group, like Kanae and Gabriel.
Eriri wasn't just steering three boats; she was practically running a fleet!
Eriri, however, remained unfazed by their looks. She didn't feel the need to correct the gossiping students; after all, what they were saying wasn't exactly wrong.
Suddenly, as if she had thought of something mischievous, Eriri stood up, leaned in, and gave each of the three girls a quick kiss on the lips, one after the other.
After returning to her seat, she even stuck out her tongue to lick her lips.
This scene left the students who were watching her stunned. Some even had a "this is a rare sight" look on their faces. Meanwhile, the students who had been discussing the relationships between Arifureta, Shea, and Eriri all had an expression that said, "I knew it."
Arifureta and Megumi weren't too bothered by Eriri's sudden move and reacted naturally, but for Shea, it was a completely different story.
This was her first kiss, something she had longed for. Now that her dream had come true, her heart was racing so fast it felt like it might burst from her chest. Her face turned a deep shade of red, and she began to breathe heavily, a blissful smile tugging at the corners of her mouth.
Seeing Shea's unusual reaction, Eriri chuckled softly, "Shea, are you okay?"
In her state of excitement, Shea was too overwhelmed to respond. Instead, she wrapped her arms around Eriri, lifting her out of the chair, and pressed her lips against Eriri's in a passionate kiss.
What followed was an intense scene of lip-locking, with saliva visibly exchanged between the two.
Arifureta and Megumi both sighed softly, turning their heads away to avoid watching.
The rest of the class, however, were left with their jaws dropped, staring in utter disbelief at the passionate display. The room fell into an eerie silence, occasionally broken by the sound of someone gulping in astonishment.
The students had now fully confirmed what they had only speculated: Eriri truly did like girls, Arifureta and Shea's earlier remarks about already liking someone were absolutely true, and they finally understood why Megumi had turned down all those confessions over the past week. However, they hadn't expected the four girls to be in such an intimate relationship.
In one corner of the classroom, Kiyo Ishimaki and Azusa Satomi were just as stunned as everyone else. They had known about Eriri and Megumi's relationship but were unaware that the new transfer students also shared such a close bond with Eriri. The scene unfolding before them was beyond anything they could have imagined.
By tomorrow, it was certain that everything that had happened in the classroom today would spread across the entire school.
For most students, this kind of behavior might have led to a warning from the school administration, but for Eriri, the daughter of the Sawamura family, there were no such concerns. As for the opinions of the other students, Eriri and her friends couldn't care less—they had never intended to hide their relationships in the first place.
