I should be terrified. I should be scared. This was war after all.

All I could feel was the adrenaline and the excitement of getting to shift for the first time in days. And it was glorious.

Leonel shifted beside me and I hurried to follow suit. It wasn't my easiest shift, but when I was standing there in wolf form, it was all worth it.

This was the first time my wolf had seen Leonel's since we had officially mated. Even in the serious moment, you could tell that the two of them just wanted to frolick and play together.

Leonel and I were strict and kept them focused on the task at hand.

However, we did let them lick each other just once before running off to the team we had assembled and brought with us. John saw me in wolf form and instantly shifted as well, and Brian did the same as we approached him.
