There was a connection, this couldn't be a coincidence and Skarde planned to question her thoroughly.

"What happened to Queen Lagertha?" Aslaug questioned, she didn't care for Lagerthat but from what she had seen so far, Lagertha was a woman that one simply couldn't hate.

The fact that she was with a child added to the misery, she couldn't believe that Lagertha was in this state.

There was no way that she could lose the child and Aslaug was here to ensure that didn't happen.

"She has been poisoned by an assassin," Skarde told her bluntly and Aslaug's face dropped the moment she heard this.

She knew what would happen if Lagertha died, there was a high chance that fingers would point at her because the timing was too convenient.

"This is bad… Take me to her at once," Aslaug demanded but Skarde stood in her way.
