Charlotte and Édouard saw the sunrise together before getting into the carriage. The red morning sky and the sound of birds chirping brought peace to their minds and soul.
"We aren't far from the capital," Édouard said.
"How much more time will it take?" Charlotte inquired.
"Two or more hours," Édouard replied.
"That's great. I wonder how is everyone doing in the palace," Charlotte stated.
"They must be well," Édouard answered. He pushed the curtains away from the window at Charlotte's request since she had to look outside.
"Can see the farmers in the fields? They woke up early in the morning to grow grains for us. Why don't we dedicate an occasion for farmers to give them respect?" Charlotte suggested to Édouard, who liked the idea.
"Farmers have never given respect despite they contribute a lot to us," Charlotte stated.
"You are right. I will discuss it in the council," Édouard assured her.
Those who added "The Devil Lord's Bride" in Myfavreads app, I sent coins to them as a small appreciation gift. I hope more will join me on a new app on a new story.
