Rainard couldn't hear the conversation and hid behind the pillar when his mother turned in his direction. He was now aware that his mother would be the biggest villain of his lovestory, which hadn't even started.
Peeking out of the pillar, he found his mother going in another direction to water the flowers, but Tove remained glued at her position. Finally, after a minute, Tove went inside the house. Rainard followed her and saw she went toward her room.
Rainard couldn't contain his confusion upon seeing the clothes he had bought for Tove being carried away by a servant. He quickly inquired, "Where are you taking those clothes?"
The servant responded, "Lady Jane instructed me to place them in her room."
Rainard took matters into his own hands, retrieving the clothes from the servant. "Tell Mother that Rainard has taken them," he instructed firmly before making his way back to his room.
