บท 43: New Modern Era
- The Emperor city -
Two Year Later...
The Emperor city flourished under Damian Shen's strong influence. With Alex Lee's recommendation, he appointed the legendary Wolves as the leaders of the Emperor City, with all the former officials as their minions. However, behind the curtains, Damian Shen's position was holding the same importance as the last Emperor.
His memory was still not recovered, but, he knew most of his past from his son's and daughter's storytelling.
They were looking nonstop for Venusa Shen with the help of the Golden Wolf organization, but they still couldn't find her trace.
The Emperor country was entering the new era with the revitalization of the politic and economic trends by lifting all the old laws that banned many overseas trades and exports-imports commerce deals. Also, many great architectures and engineer workers were hired from overseas with the help of the Golden Wolf organization.
They had built many big boats with machine power and also, they had cleaned out the big rocks that surrounded the Emperor city like a living trap, thus enabling easy access to get out or get in the country without using a longer path that took double times.
With Damian Shen's influence, the monopoly of the wealthy or nobleman was banned from any business and all the people were given an equal chance to be rich with their abilities and skills.
Within two years the Emperor country was developed beyond belief to a new modern era, new beliefs and norms, new education systems, new architecture buildings, new modern transportation such as cars and planes, new roads, new great modern gadgets and a new way of thinking, for instance, using a camera was no longer a taboo.
Missionaries, educators, mercenaries, and workers from overseas were no longer banned, which empowered the Emperor country to rise up from an ancient world country to a well-developed country for the purpose of making competition with the overseas modern country. As such, Damian Shen had been going all over the overseas country for political or private business, not only to strengthen the Emperor country but also to look for his wife, Venusa Shen who was taken by Marshal Lang. In his muddy mind, he only thought of her as his little sister, thus it was unbelievable that he had consummated their marriage, but Alex Lee was showing the DNA proof that he indeed had fathered him, followed by Leah Shen DNA proof, to erase any doubt because of his ailing memory. Even though, he didn't remember any romance between himself and Venusa Shen..., still he would take her back into his possession since she belonged to him.
For 18 months, David Lee had resided with his family in the Emperor city to help to look for his niece and to help out with the improvement of the Emperor country's new era.
With the new transportation systems, he was able to go back to the golden Wolf organization once a week, also he was recruiting many potential members by staying at the Emperor City.
His meek wife was entering the room with a dark cloud expression and said with anguish, " The elite agents that we sent to the forth overseas country was unable to find Venusa in that location too..., what else we can do, hubby!!"
"Maya.., I believe we would find her eventually and soon, don't worry..., instead...", he paused and pulled her gently into his lap and whispered seductively, "Maya..., your hubby needs you!"
Unable to reject the good looking husband, she agreed silently and willingly, together they headed up to their bedroom and a loud noises of lovemaking was heard without restraints.
At that moment, the three years old Dave Lee was entering the house with his cousin, Alex Lee, and innocently he said, " There are wild animals in my parent's room, let's get rid of them!" He was pulling an army knife from his boot knife holster but immediately, Alex Lee dragged him outside the house by his wrist and coldly said, " Let's give the wild animals some privacy! Meanwhile, we could go back to the training ground."
Eventually, his cousin would understand what happened behind the closed door, but right at this time, Alex Lee wanted to protect his cousin's adorable innocence tendency.
- Shen's new mansion, Emperor city -
"Daddy.., are you leaving for business again?!", asked Leah Shen with pouting lips.
Coldly, he replied," Yes, this time it would take months because it will be a hard negotiation, but the Emperor country needed this deal to flourish".
Leah Shen had gotten used to his cold expression and impersonal words, but still, her heart felt like it was poked into little holes whenever she saw her icy daddy. He missed her old daddy that would comfort her and play with her. The new daddy was so busy with the country's affairs that she was rarely seeing him for the longest time. Still, she loved him, but her heart was broken with his unaffectionate and emotionless cold composure. The powerful man in front of her was unable to love as a normal human would, his heart was as cold as an iceberg and so far, no one seemed to be able to break the barriers to enter it.
"Daddy..., can I accompany you?!"
"You can't. I don't need a hindrance, just stay with your brother".
Unable to hold her emotion any longer because of his rejection words, Leah Lee was running out of his office room with tears on her eyes.
While Damian Shen was feigning indifferent by completing the paper works on his desk and ignoring the little girl's emotional outburst.
- Meanwhile, Lang's residency, The Modern Country -
Sallie Lang was watching her twin playing at the playground with a warm feeling of deep love. They just turned two years old, she named her little girl, Ashlie and her little boy, Ashton. After a while, she realized that Nick Lang never showed any interest in them, he was acting as he cared about them only for show in front of her.
Like a mantra, Nick Lang appeared at the moment she was thinking of his indifference toward the twin. He was hugging her from behind and kissed her neck forcefully, but with disgust, she elbowed him with enough strength to push him away.
"Darling..., why don't we make more babies?!!", he grunted with painful longing. It had been a year since she moved in with him, but still, he wasn't able to bed her.
"You don't deserve another baby when you couldn't even show any care to our twin!"
Nick Lang brows furrowing deeply and inwardly he thought, while his anger was built all the way up to his constraints, 'How could I loved the other man kids?'.
Angrily, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her without care of her protest. She bit on him hard and it was causing him to curse loudly when blood oozing out from his lips. "Darn! You are my wife.., why can't you love me and let me show you my love with sex?!!"
Sallie Lang wiped her lips from his disgusting wet taste. She was unable to answer to his question, perhaps she had never loved him to begin with or perhaps her love for him had diminished by times, one thing for sure, his lecherous touch sent a revolting shivers all over her body and the thought of mating with him made her nauseous to the point of throwing up.
Marilyn Lang was watching the whole scene with great despair of unhappiness. In her husband's eyes, she was just a doormat, while the other woman was his most precious treasure. Every night, they would make love in the dark while he was fantasying about the other woman and calling the other woman's name whilst he reached his orgasm. However, that was better than being untouched and uncared for, like the way Damian Shen totally ignore her ripe body when she was begging for release. She clenched her hand into a fist and biting her lips with vengeance on her thought. Revenge was her keyword to be happy in this world, henceforth, to be able to separate Damian Shen from the only woman he ever loved in his life was her true sweet salvation.
She couldn't win Marshal Shen's affection but her emotional disturbance was resolved when Nick Lang kidnapped his woman, but the tramp shouldn't seduce her husband..., there was no way she would share her most powerful and wealthiest husband in the nation with the tramp.
Without any more thought, she walked toward them in fast-pace and pulling Nick Lang to her side by saying seductively," Hubby..., you don't need her..., I can satisfy you..., let's go to bed!".
Nick Lang was aroused from his encounter with the goddess body, but unable to get his way with her, he followed the willing woman to their dark bedroom.
Sallie Lang didn't feel any ounce of jealousy with their intimate show-off affection. Her bedroom was just next to theirs, but on the contrary, when she heard their animals mating noise every night, it had never triggered any emotions within her. She had been thinking to divorce Nick Lang because of how distasteful she felt whenever he touched her, but she didn't have any money on her names besides the monthly allowance as Nick Lang's wife. How could she survived with her babies without any money to provide for them. Her babies were her priority thus she was staying with him unwillingly.
The twin was done playing and running toward her with excitement. She swooped both of them, Ashlee in her front and Ashton in her back and carried them happily while hopping up and down like a rabbit to make them laugh like a bell. Everything would be pure perfection for her if only she could leave her lecherous flamboyant husband...
