"I assure you, your Majesties, that your daughter will be found and returned to you in good condition."

The Inspector General reassured us all via phone call, the phone set to loudspeaker mode. We'd all been trying to reach him for the past fifteen minutes, and now we'd succeeded he had promised to assign more policemen to join the search.

Mr. Oba curtly thanked him before proceeding to cut the call. Janet, who was still sniffling quietly, made her way to him and wrapped her arms around him. He lovingly returned the embrace, whispering words of comfort to his wife, while Jared and I watched their display of affection.

Honestly, I admired Mr. & Mrs. Oba's relationship.

After years of being together, they still respected and cared for each other so much. It truly was such a beautiful sight to behold and hopefully, one day I could love Hannah the way her parents loved each other.
