She did not know what came over her to say those things to him. It was like something in her snap. And she could not stop the words from slipping from her tongue. Maybe it was the fact that she could feel her frustration. 

One minute, she thought that he belonged to someone else. Then, the next, it sounded like he only used Eli for his selfish pleasure. But despite that, she also knew that she wanted him so much for herself.

Stupid! That was what she was.

What about him? What did he see when he looked at her? Someone he could sleep with until he found someone new. That was not going to happen. So, should she just quit and leave?

"Are you going deny that you are sleeping with her?" Luisa asked, direct to the point, as she pulled out of his hold, but her eyes never left his face. She wanted to see if he would lie to her to wiggle his way out of this tight situation.
