บท 267: • Outskirts

Akemi Nagata was settled into the lavish interior of the expensive Royal caravel, eyes as silent as ever, hands resting on her laps as anxiety swirled in her mind.

As the caravel drove, the townscape outside gradually gave way to the more dry, serene outskirts. Here, past the sprawling estates and wealthy homes, the landscape was marked with flat greenery and numerous fields, close to the border in between the Fifth and Third Wings.

The trio had agreed to meet together at this field, so they would travel to Ryvenmere in one ride and enroll into the Daligarth's Academy.

As the caravel made its way to the rendezvous point, Tikaji, Akemi's uncle sitting beside her took in a deep breath. He seemed concerned, but was also resolute, knowing this needed to be done.

He leaned sideways and dropped his voice to a grave, soft tone. "You must be careful in the Daligarth's Academy. It's a battleground of its own, no one there is your friend."
