บท 1: Chapter 1
Tatiana's POV
As the sun rises from the east I can't help but ravel from its beauty for alas it has more beauty than my life right now.My name is Tatiana Marilyn Clifford,The first princess of Decka.You might say "but what's not beautiful and dreamy about a princess' life" well apart from the fact my parents and my siblings hate me,I don't feel happy and no one at the palace respect me,well maybe few do but the point is I am the black sheep of my family.The King of Decka, William Abel Clifford has made sure that my life is hard and the Queen, Madeline Elsie Clifford,and my siblings, Evelyn Elena Clifford and Andrew Eugene Clifford have made it a habit to never stop reminding me that I'm hated.
With that in mind I jump out of bed and make my way to the mirror,
looking back at me is a lady with very dark blue hair and sapphire eyes.Ive never considered my self beautiful but I know I'm not ugly either.I look nothing like mother but I have some of father's attributes like the eyes and a mole on my upper lip but still I look nothing like the king and queen maybe that's the reason in neglected but I stopped caring about that a long time ago.Also I'm the only one in the family withe blue hair.The king and prince have blonde hair and blue eyes the Queen and second princess have brown hair and green eyes.Evelyn is the splitting image of mother.Mayby that is why I'm the odd one in the family.
Still lost in my thoughts,Suddenly,I hear a knock on my door "Your highness,It's time to wake up,we have to get you ready for breakfast" I hear my maid,Ivy say as she opens the door and walks in and goes to prepare my bath."Did the ask for me?,Ivy" I ask as I walk towards my closet "Yes your highness"Ivy replies from the bathroom.Well that's a surprise.I haven't attended breakfast for two days,they must have noticed.
"How was your night,your highness"Ivy asked as she walked out of the bathroom "As amazing as always,Ivy and you should stop calling me your highness when we're alone " I replied only to see her smirk.She was doing it on purpose.Lets just say I've known Ivy for a long time,Ten years to be exact, she's for years older than me, she's a twin and she's my best friend,or even my soul sister because I've always felt this connection with her.Back to the 'Name topic ' from the very beginning I've asked Ivy to call me by my name when we're alone, which is every time but just to annoy me sometimes she calls me 'your highness ' and whenever Ivy does something to tease me she always has this look on her face so I know when she's trying to get on my nerves.
Soon my other maids arrived and got me ready for breakfast.Though I am a princess,I have only six maids and Five guard because i don't trust any one sent by my family so all my maids and guards are hand picked by me.Infact I have my own side of the palace,my private area where nobody except my people can come.
So with my guard, Simon who is Ivy's twin brother and Ivy by my side I walked to the dinning room,when I arrived,the anchor announced my entrance.As i walked in i greeted "Good morning, Royal family"only to receive nods and scowls from them.I just ignore it and sit down and the servants serve me breakfast ."Mother the haven ball is in five months,we have to start all the preparations" I here my sister's high pitched voice tell our mother.I hate her voice,it annoys me,no I hate her in general,she is too full of her self and she gets on my nerves."I'll invite the seamstress to discuss out dresses."she continues."ooh but sadly no amount of preparation can stop you from being ugly" I say not so subtly and I can see her scowl in anger but she says nothing probably because she has nothing to say and maybe not to annoy Father but I have no restrictions.
"Anyway Your Majesty,I will be going out to meet an aquintance" I tell my father more like to inform him because although I have little respect for him he is still the king.I see him nod as he continues to eat .Then I hear Evelyn mutter "I wonder who her friends are with that bad attitude of hers ". I chuckle "oh Evelyn,if my attitude were as bad as your face then I would be worried" I say and I could see veins popping out of her he'd and she looked like she was about to explode but I didn't care she asked for it.She looked at the Queen for help but only got a look the said 'calm down ' and father and Andrew looked uninterested so she had no choice but to let it go.
some times I feel like they fear me,The King and Queen that is.It 's like they're scared I'll do something bad ,at first I was puzzled by their behavior but with time I got used to it and started using it against them which is why they never tell me off or scold me.Sometimes i even see hatred in the Queen's eyes,like she wants me dead but she's restricted.
I find it very amusing but I'm still curious. I want to know why my mother hates me and why they are being cautious around me bu all in due time.
As soon as I was done with breakfast I excused my self and walked out of the dinning room and as I did I could feel a gaze of hatred and I'm sure it was from Evelyn.

Decka is the most powerful kingdom in the southern continent as it is blessed with good soil ,great weather conditions and has a lot of man power.Though i think this is the least of Decka's power.I believe Decka can be more powerful.These are my thoughts as I ride in the royal carriage.Although I've never put it in my mind to be Queen,on one hand I would love to rule and bring Decka greater glory,but on another hand I think it will s stressful so I'm not that hopeful and besides my father has never talked about me being the next ruler.In Decka,the first child,weather male or female must rule it is an unbroken law but with the way things are I think it's about to be broken.Although,I don't know if the king can break that rule we'll just have to wait and see.Andrew might become King because he is the only prince or they might try to get rid of me.
Anyway,I'm on my way to see the love of my life.You remember when I said not everything in my life is bad this is what I was talking about.Salvador Charles Edmund,The first prince of Alvanor ,and the only beauty in my life.My first and only love,he came and made my life worth living.Today he was coming to visit me.I haven't seen him in a long time because he has princly duties so I'm very excited.(end of Tatiana's Pov)

Soon, a rather plane carriage arrived at an inn and a lady wearing a peach dress alighted ,her blue hair tied into a bun and covered with a black vail that swayed in the wind and her sapphire eyes sparkling with hidden excitement.Though her arrival caused a stir people soon went about minding their business.The lady was dressed so simply that no one recognized her as the first princess.Tatiana never went out with her hair open because everyone even though they hadn't seen her knew she had blue hair so she always hid her hair whenever she went out.
Tatiana walked into the inn, gaining a lot of attention which she ignored as if already used to it.Eventually, everyone went about their business ignoring her Tatiana found a table and got comfortable.A few minutes later,a young man with jet black hair and brown eyes walked in.He was wearing a simple pair of pants and a shirt.He walked over to Tatiana's table.Tatiana looked up with a smile and shining eyes."Hello,love how have you been"the man asked as he sat down "a mass,but now that you're here, better"she replied.it was Salvador Charles Edmund, Tatiana's love .Any one who saw her would know she was in love,with those eyes and the smile that never seem to fade ."Salvador you left me alone for weeks"Tatiana said in a complaining tone but did not look like it ."Tatiana,you know it was never my intention to be gone this long but I've been very busy.My father asked that I join him in every activity related to the kingdom so I had no time to visit" Salvador explained as he held her hands."you know I've missed you so much.Ive been so miserable without you"Salvador continued with a sad expression "oh stop it "Tatiana said with rad cheeks .
After ordering and receiving their food they started eating.
Tatiana and Salvador met three years ago ,they were both in disguise and did not know their positions.At first, Tatiana was reluctant to trust him as she suspected he was an informant who wanted to use her against her family but after a few months of getting to know each other they fell in love and have been courting ever since .
"So,tell me what has been going on with you"Salvador asked
"you know same as always my father ignores me,my mother hates me,my sister is as annoying as always and my brother is nonchalant.what about you"Tatiana asked before putting some food in her mouth."well I've been with my Father and have been tackling some issues about the kingdom and I'll be going to Grandor ,in the northern empire to settle some problems"Salvador replied "WHAT "Tatiana said with a shocked expression "You'll be gone for so long"."I'll be gone for four months it's not that long"Salvador replied with a sigh "well it's long for me.Salvador I won't see you for four months." Tatiana said with a saddened expression,which turned to panic as she continued "And you might also be in danger ,you are going to another territory.What if they are trying to kill you?" "Tatiana you are being paranoid,I'm going to talk about trade between our country,it's not a something to be fussy about.I know you'll miss me and I'll miss you too but I'm a prince and i cannot run away from my responsibilities, and do not worry I be safe.and when I come back I'll introduce you to my parents and we'll get married"Salvador replied.Tatiana's brightened up with a smile "really?"she asked "of course,I've told my parents about you and they are dieing to meet you" He replied.They kept talking and after a lot of convincing Tatiana didn't try stopping Salvador .
After their lunch together they strolled around the main market together and admired the beautiful sites around.Soon it was time for Salvador to go back to Alvanor .After comforting Tatiana,who wailed and cried her eyes out,He departed.With that Tatiana went back to the palace.Little did she know that four months from now her life was going to change .
