บท 70: Not Thinking

Immediately Bella got to her destination, she got out of the car, "Thanks for paying," She called out to Nicole before dashing into the cafe. 

"Very strange young lady," The driver muttered to Nicole, who was still looking in Bella's direction until she disappeared completely from view. She didn't know if he was referring to her or Bella, but she didn't care either as she called out her destination to him. 

"I knew I'd get here before you," Ben murmured grudgingly the moment Bella joined him in the booth. He had been waiting for over twenty minutes already.

"Yep. Knowing that never changes anything. Before I forget the reason I came to see you, can you tell me exactly what you discussed with the lady yesterday? What did she ask you, and what did you say?" Bella asked. 

"Can we at least order something first? You haven't seen me in over..."
