บท 158: THE SECOND CHANCE

"Why didn't you tell me from the start, Malvin? Why did you take action on your own without discussing it with me first, how good is that? I'm very disappointed in you, Malvin..." Biserka looked at her ex-fiancé with a questioning look and also filled with disappointment towards him.

"Because I don't want you to be in danger too. I don't want to get you hurt because of me," Malvin replied and looked back at Biserka intently.

Biserka then chuckled and immediately released her hand which was still in Malvin's. Then she wiped the tears that had started to fall down her face.

"A very classic excuse." Biserka was silent for a moment before finally deciding to continue her words to Malvin. She tried to catch her breath, which was already panting from holding back tears. "Our relationship has reached the stage of engagement, Malvin. You shouldn't think like that and be so selfish. Even if I'm in danger, I'm with you. We can get through it together," Biserka continued.
