บท 148: I Hope He Would Be Home Soon

Shouko spent her time being lazy. She just stayed inside the bedroom without any intention to move around much. The cramps in her lower abdomen weren't as bad as yesterday yet she just wanted to lie on the bed all day long.

"En, I'm bored."

After muttering out the remark, Shouko rolled on the bed until her long hair tousled behind her. She stopped eventually, her eyes went to the windows. The beam of sunlight filled the entire room with its glow.

Shouko pressed her stomach. She inadvertently curled up her lips when she touched the heat pack warming her lower abdomen. The easing of her menstrual cramps was helped by using it.

Yesterday, she had her husband's warm hands massaging her abdominal area and legs. Today, she could only rely on this heat pack.

"You should use this heat pack, Young Madam," Mai said this afternoon after Shouko had just finished her lunch, "Young Master has instructed me to give it to you. It would ease your pain."
