As the afternoon classes at Redwood Academy came to a close, Kiran headed toward the Acting Department to find Snow. Earlier at lunch, they had agreed to head to Polaris together, so it only made sense to meet up. Since Snow's final class was closer to the school gate, Kiran had suggested they meet up there, making it easier and quicker for them both.

So why was he going to Polaris again? It's because the head of the company's music division had requested a meeting with him.

He didn't need to be exceptionally perceptive to figure out the reason for the meeting. Given the success of the album he'd produced, they were almost certainly planning to offer him another project. Yet, despite the likely opportunity, he felt a wave of reluctance.
