Anticipating a retort fuelled by anger, Abaddon was taken aback when Roth responded calmly.
"Yes," Roth admitted without a hint of shame. "Yes, that's right. I was one of those who fled. And even the man who just arrived is another such individual."
Abaddon couldn't help but frown at the reaction of Roth.
Then Roth's next words caught him off guard. "Is that how you assess your opponents, demon?"
Intrigued by Roth's unexpected composure, Abaddon responded with a sadistic grin.
"Indeed, I do. It simplifies matters. If an opponent succumbs to anger and acts recklessly, I know they are made of weak stuff. Realizing this, I dispatch them swiftly."
Roth nodded thoughtfully. "So, how do you categorize me?"
Abaddon pondered for a moment before delivering his judgment.
"You strike me as someone who could provide an engaging fight for a while before I eventually grow bored and decide to end it."
"Oh! That's not a good compliment."
