บท 65: The Tear of Noir (1)

The serenity of their meal was disturbed by the crash. Luan, who was the walking advertisement for vigour and godly strength, was now writhing on the floor like he just consumed poison.

"Luan!" 

Arianell pressed her hands against him, but his body was uncontrollable. One of his hands grabbed her arm, while the other was in his throat. His grip was powerful, and he couldn't control it, but she couldn't even cry out in pain.

"What happened!?" 

His body was burning, especially inside his throat was like an erupted volcano. The heat spread through the flesh and even his fingers were on fire. 

Arianell was in great distress. He was fine a moment ago, but why is this happening now? Could it be food poisoning? But they ate the same things! Rice, chicken, jujube… Everything was also consumed by her, and she was fine, except…

Her eyes landed on the white root peeking under the shards of the broken bowl.
