Over at the fortress where the Phoenix Royal family was based, Curtis was pacing around a small room that had been decorated like a parlor. His heart demon, Alexander has been on his mind for a while, and he was feeling nervous, not because of Alexander, but because 3 of his siblings joined this competition.

Previously, before he even knew of Alexander's existence, Prince Curtis mocked his other siblings for not being chosen to be a Midas seed carrier. Now that they could get the same rewards without being a seed carrier, he was the one that was being mocked. Not only that, he was sure that they would love to obstruct his plans and decisions.
