บท 125: Lion and Eagle

In the US base.

Ayaka was lying on the floor with only a blank look on her face.

"Are you giving up now? You've only died sixty times… Just like I said, your motivation is too weak." The professor looked down on her. Her gaze looked at her as though she was nothing more than garbage. "I've said it earlier. If you don't have a will, it'll be useless if I give you that since you won't be able to get through it."

After enduring such gruesome pain for the past few hours, it was normal for her to be a bit traumatized. She had experienced everything from cracking bones, tearing muscles, to even slow and painful death. At a time, she even started hallucinating about her life and other things, including Kai.

However, hearing her provocation made her hand twitch before her consciousness slowly returned.

It took her a few minutes before she could finally say, "I can continue."
