บท 145: Year of the Dog

"To the world that kicked you down when you are already on all fours. To the world that will only love you according to its own conditions. What shall you say in response?"

"Nothing! We don't bark, we bite!"

"That's right! So raise your hands to this world of underdogs and cheer for God of Dogs himself!"

The chanting ritual continued on until lunch. By the end of it, everyone was hungry, but their passion and zealousness was still evident as they gobbled up a bunch of mashed potatoes, roasted chicken and chickpeas. 

"You were a natural in your first Gathering, Zhongma!" Chuan Shanjia exclaimed. "You got into it pretty quickly!"

"I don't know…. I guess I just have a lot of dissatisfaction within me." Wolfe told him.

Leon narrowed his eyes at this. Earlier, they were chanting words that do not make sense. It was no surprise for him if Wolfe managed to memorize the chants quickly.

What made him uneasy….
