When someone knocked on Persie's door, he looked at the hour on his computer. He still had five minutes.

"Come in."

Calista and Demetrius entered. They both took a seat on the couch in front of him. Persie glanced at them, then at his computer, and asked, "What can I do for you?"

Calista and Demetrius knew that their dynamic would take time to change, but they didn't like hearing that. They had come to make sure Persie was okay, not because they needed something.

"We wanted to make sure you were okay with Evander joining us," Calista said.
