The announcement rang in their ears just as the last Armor Piercing Arrow of Samar accurately moved towards the green core of the Tree and shattered it.

The burning and rampant Elderant suddenly became still, and its gargantuan body began to shake. A huge green blast of vitality spread from it and all of its yellowed leaves fell to the ground at once. 

"Thank you, Elves," The whistling wind carried the last whisper of the departing spirit to their ears and the Elderant crumbled into pieces, leaving behind loot of incredible value. 

The team let out a sigh of relief as they realized the battle had come to an end. They collapsed on the ground, panting, too tired to even celebrate, yet wide smiles graced their lips.
