บท 59: I AM A SLAVE OF MY OWN INSTINCT

John suspected that he was sedated beforehand.

He could hardly even move a single finger let alone speak.

All that he could do was to mumble a few incoherent mutterings here and there which was not making any sense either when one would put it together.

"Anyway, it is too late now," he heard the other party as it whispered next to his ear.

'SSHHH'

The man added as he gestured to the child to stop crying by placing his forefinger over its lips.

"This won't hurt. Well, maybe a little, but not for long. For now, you just have to close your eyes."

Contrary to the devilish smile and the wicked deed that he was committing at that moment, the man's voice was quite gentle as though it was actually lulling the child to sleep.

He was not in a way disturbed by the amount of blood spilling before him. Some even sprayed his face but he did not care.
