This promise was tempting. Even to Lu Li, let alone the Master of Voodoo Race and the other warriors, was intrigued.

This was an immortal—a quite powerful one at that. He wanted to accept Lu Li as his protégé to relay his knowledge and skills so that Lu Li could be given the guidance in becoming an immortal.

Lu Li was apt to learn. He might not be the most talented but he was a gifted warrior. If he could be God of Sorcerer's protégé, at the very least—Lu Li becoming an immortal would be guaranteed and if not, learning God of Sorcerer's secret knowledge.

Maybe, Lu Li could strike a deal with the God of Sorcerer to only hand over the Wicked Bead after the latter had helped the former become an immortal. God of Sorcerer should be able to accept. Compared to the lifespan of an immortal, he could afford to wait for a few decades.
