บท 29: Keeping A Reputation
I turned around to look at my comrades, they were all bowing slightly because of my father. I smiled and walked forward. I clapped my hands and they all straightened up. I sighed at the little bit of pain I was feeling and knew another quirk was manifesting. I held a finger up to everyone as to say wait a sec. The pain subsided and I realized that must of been All Might's quirk manifesting in my body. My smile returned and I activated the quirk. The veins all over my body glowed red and I had a slight turquoise light around me. Everyone looked surprised the quirk manifested that fast. I felt another slight pain but my smile stayed in place. I didn't know what quirk I had just gotten so I didn't show that anything else had happened.
I deactivated the quirk and folded my wings into my back. I felt a slight tearing of my skin from the increase in the size of my wings. I looked back at my father and he seemed proud that I could go through pain without screaming, crying, or anything a normal kid of my age would do even when I was on the ground in pain I didn't do those things. I smiled wider at the thought my father was proud of me. I walked over to him gave him another quick hug and got into the elevator.
I walked quickly to the lounge and grabbed all the parts of my Villain outfit. I grabbed the voice changer, hooded trench coat, and mask also. I changed into the outfit and walked back to the cell block. I looked at the elevator then at the railing. I expanded my wings through the holes I had made larger and jumped. I heard distressed screams that faded away as soon as they saw my wings. I landed softly with barely any sound.
"You truly are crazy Izu," Touya told me exasperated. I smiled at him and started making sure everyone's disguises were secure. I smiled and brought the camera out. I started regretting burning the symbol of peace to death when suddenly my finger started glowing I figured out this was the quirk I got with All Might's quirk. I walked over to the pile of Ash's and touched it with my glowing finger. The Ash's slowly turned into All Might's burned body then he came back alive. I smiled at him and he looked horrified.
"Hello Symbol of peace, I have decided to bring you back to life so I can show your dead body to the world." I smiled took my Scythe out and stabbed him through with it.
"You...Monster...." he managed to choke out before dying. I sighed and took the blade of my scythe out of him. I cleaned it off and put it away. I pulled the chair had been sitting in, in front of the camera I put his body in it and tied him up. I smiled at the masterpiece and put my disguise on. I smiled at everyone and they understood.
My father stood behind the camera to not be seen. I turned the voice changer off, linked the footage of the camera to everything, and anything people would be watching. I turned the camera on and the dead body of All Might was revealed. "People of Japan, this fake hero of yours that you called the hero of peace, Is a truly disgusting person. We made a hologram of one of UA's students that he taught If you want to know it was Izuku Midoriya. This man that you called the symbol of peace, smiled at the hologram of Izuku Midoriya crying and begging for his life. The image of him beaten up, with marks all over his body. He smiled at the image of one of his students almost dead!" I stopped to let anyone who was watching process this. I put up the hologram of how I looked right now and turned it off again.
"This Symbol of Peace... Is DEAD! He was a FAKE HERO." I finished off with that and turned the camera off. I took everything off after making sure it was completely off. I frowned my face looking like if you crossed me you would get hurt. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. I yawned and looked at the time. It was five in the morning and I hadn't gotten a wink of sleep. I expanded my wings once again and flew to the top of the gigantic cell block. I set down and walked sleepily over to the lounge's couch. I laid down unconsciously taking my waistcoat off along with unbuttoning my shirt. I closed my eyes and was asleep in an instant.
When I woke up a few hours later I barely kept my eyes open for three seconds before falling asleep again. When I finally fully woke up I saw it was around one in the afternoon. I yawned before seeing I was in Touya, Shoto, and I's bedroom. I stood up and felt that my clothes had been changed.
I looked in my mirror and saw that I had been changed into a pair of white flowy shorts and a baby blue cropped sweatshirt. I smiled and just kept walking out the door. I remembered the endeavor that was last night and groaned. I saw the puppies waiting at the bottom of the stairs along with my father, Touya, Shoto, Toga, Shigi,(All in disguise) along with, Kacchan, Kiri, and Aizawa. I frowned at why so many people were here and looked curiously at Touya. He sighed and complied.
"You were asleep for around two days." My eyes widened and I looked at the date. It was indeed around two days later. I was sure my face showed my confusion.
"W-What but I remember waking up for at least three seconds earlier today!" I stammered out my worries. "Why was I asleep for two days?!" I asked rather upset. Touya fixed me with the 'Calm down then I'll tell you' look and I breathed deeply coming down the last few stairs.
"We assume it was because of stress, the number of quirks you manifested two days ago, all the pain you went through, or/and the fact you hadn't slept at all two days ago." I sighed at Aizawa's explanation. "When the villains showed the 'hologram' it wasn't really a hologram was it?" I shook my head and saw the bandages that covered my body. I sighed and saw guilty looks on Shoto and Touya's faces. I smiled sadly and walked over to them.
"Hey it's not your faults, don't look so guilty," I told them. They just relaxed into the hand I had each of their faces. "Im glad to be awake now but Im kinda sad I lost my vacation," I pouted jokingly. Everyone laughed and I smiled at them. I hugged my two pouty boyfriends and gave them each a kiss on the cheek. I let them go and gave my dad a huge hug smiling at the fact he had deactivated whatever made him look like he did, and he looked how I remembered him in my earlier memories. He had light green hair, freckles like mine, red eyes (must be where I got my red-eye from), a tall strong build, slender long fingers, a strong jawline, and a warm smile.
"Im glad your awake Izu, I was worried." I smiled at his concerned tone and kissed his cheek.
"Im fine Father. Im a strong boy, stress and pain won't knock me down!" I exclaimed this part with enthusiasm. I sighed at the fact I would only have Saturday and Sunday for vacation and continued hugging everyone except Mr. Aizawa who I shook hands with. "Thanks for being concerned, everyone!" I smiled at all of them. I saw the puppies looking up at me expectantly and I smiled more softly. I picked the puppies up and cuddled them.
The next two days went by so fast it was depressing. All I did during the two days was take care of the puppies go to interviews, modeling shoots, talk shows, and other things. I got home on Sunday night upset with how quickly I had to go back to school. It was around eleven at night and I was exhausted. I got licked and sniffed by the puppies while setting my things down, I grabbed a glass of water and the school work I had to get done. I quickly finished that up seeing as it was just more papers to get to know the class more that we would be presenting to the class.
I sighed at the questions about my Dad and mom. I filled in that my stepdad was Orokana jāku. I smirked at the meaning of it. I filled in that my father was Hiroshi Midoriya. I smiled softly at the question worded, 'Who is your mother?' I crossed out the 'is' and wrote in 'was'. I then filled in Inko Midoriya. I sighed at the sad memory. I filled out the rest of the questions quickly and set the sheet down. Looking at the time I saw it had taken me ten minutes. I shrugged and put the things I would tomorrow into my bag. I then finally trudged up the stairs. I walked quietly into the bedroom to see Touya and Shoto were asleep. I smiled softly and continued on my walk to my closet.
I changed out of the turtle neck and tight jeans I was wearing, into a pair of black loose-fitting shorts and an oversized light grey sweatshirt. Quietly I walked over to the bed and slid into it. I smiled and fell asleep.
