บท 8: A pet, Friends, and Family...?
Everyone looked impressed and rightfully so. I had organized this and learned to set up all the technology. I smiled and Touya hugged my waist and leaned his chin on my head. I watched them admire the suits. And remembered how I had made them myself. Then I thought of something and spun around. "Babe|," I said in a coaxing manner.
"Yes~?" He said with a questioning tone.
"Can we get a puppy or a kitten?" I asked he sighed and looked me in the eyes. He nodded and I wasn't sure which he was agreeing to maybe if I got lucky it was both. Then I remembered we had three empty rooms left and thought that if I can get a puppy and kitty then they each have their own room. Or maybe I can get two puppies my eyes widened in excitement. Dabi looked to the group who wanted to come with us. Dabi sighed and nodded again. I raced upstairs to grab my backpack that matched Toga and Denki's I heard them come up the stairs behind me and grab their bags they looked into the bag and saw that it was empty they looked at me and I answered their unspoken question.
"I enhanced it so it has infinite space!" I cheerfully stayed they smiled and hugged me again. I put a pair of dark green shades on. I handed them the same shades only in their color. They thanked me and slid them on. I made the shades in purple, light blue, and navy also. I set my scythe into the bag and it stayed there if it was a small thing it would stay a normal backpack. Then I folded a ton of yen into wads and put them in they went into the hidden pocket only people I allowed could get in. I got the same amount for Toga and Denki and they looked at me shocked I just giggled and they did also. I made a scarf in all the colors as well.
They thanked me and I smiled at them. Then we ran back downstairs. I handed the three guys their shades and scarves then I thought of something else and made a sweater that was a non-cropped version of ours in their colors and sweatpants for them that matched ours. Touya sighed and they all went upstairs to changed the three of us chatted while waiting. When they came back down I squealed at how good they looked. When we were all ready we went outside and I saw the surprise I had gotten for group trips such as this. I signaled for all of them to wait there and I walked to the gate and opened it I turned the key and turned the car on and I drove it up the driveway. Since Shin, Denki, and Toga didn't have their license yet and I wanted to sit with them it was between Shigaraki and Dabi. But they could figure that out. I drove it up and saw all of their looks of surprise. It was a van used for road trips. I hopped out and skipped over to them.
"Tada!" I yelled. They all looked amazed and I felt proud.
"Tell me this is real?!" Shin said. I nodded and he looked shocked.
"I got it for road trips and trips in a larger group!" I answered to Dabi's curious gaze. When it was decided between Dabi and Shigaraki who would drive (Dabi is) we all piled in Toga decided to sit in the back with me and Dabi sat next to Shigaraki in the front. Then I thought a bit and I put all of our bags in the back and sat down again. Since I and Toga were sitting in the back, Denki and Shin were sitting in the middle. Then we started on our way to the pet store we were talking amongst ourselves and when we got there I and Toga ran to the truck grabbed our bags and ran to the front doors of the place. Shin and Denki did what we did but slower.
And so did Dabi and Shigi. "Hurry~!" I and Toga whined. When they finally got there we walked inside and straight to the puppies. I saw one I wanted right away. It was a Siberian Husky with a green and blue eye. Her fur was a white and black mix. The tip of her nose was white and so were the paws. The rest of her fur was black. I pointed at her saying, "That one!" Everyone looked at me in surprise and then looked at the dog. It was beautiful. Then I saw one that looked like her exact opposite. His blue eye and green eye were switched, and the colors of his fur were also switched they were both the same size and they were both young puppies. I walked over to them and let them sniff my hands. They warmed up to me immediately and allowed me to pick them up. I looked at the rest of them with a look of wonder and saw them all grab their phones and take a picture. I was a little confused when I saw some other people take pictures to.
I held the puppies up more and cuddled them they cuddled into me and searched for my warmth I put them by my chest and they cuddled into me more I loved them at first sight just like Touya. "Can we get these two?" Dabi came over to me and nodded. We went up to the counter and told them we wanted these two they said that we can pick them back up when we're done getting things for them. So off we went to find some things for them. We went to the food aisle and grabbed some bags for the puppies. I walked to the aisle they had pet beds, and bowls. I grabbed a navy bed and bowl and a dark green bed and bowl. by the time I grabbed both of those Dabi had to go and grab a cart. I set the items into the cart and went on skipping to the next aisle that had treats and toys. I grabbed a few toys that would entertain them when they got older.
I grabbed a couple of bags of soft treats that would be good for their teeth then threw them into the cart. We moved to the next aisle and saw the leashes I picked out a navy colored leash and a dark green leash. When we had everything we needed I wheeled the cart over to the checkout I bought everything and put all the bags into my tiny backpack. I walked over to the counter I had brought the puppies to and paid for them. I picked them up and set them in the carrier I had bought with them. When I had finished up Dabi and Shigaraki had finished us clearing space up for everything even though I put the things into my backpack they were quite heavy so I took all the bags out and set them into the back of the car I put the puppies carrier in Toga's arms and made sure she wouldn't drop them and got in the car I took the carrier back and set it down next to me and buckled up I took the carrier back and set it in my lap.
On the way home everyone talked amongst ourselves. When we got back I rushed the Puppies to our room and set them down for a second. I got two carpets out of the air and laid them over the cold hard floor in the two rooms that would be theirs. I set my bag down on the stool at the end of the bed. I picked the two puppies up and they cuddled into me and licked me. I walked carefully down the stairs and down to the first floor. when I walked into the living room Toga had put her hair down and dyed it brown and shigaraki had put Black highlights in then I saw the additions to our visitors. I smiled at them and handed the puppies to Dabi. It was Uraraka, Shoto, Momo, and Kacchan. I walked to them and gave them each a hug. then I remembered that Toga and Denki had a matching outfit to me so I grabbed Uraraka and Momo's hands and pulled them up to me and Dabi's room as well. I summoned a set of pink and red cropped sweatshirt and sweatpants. I handed the pink one to Uraraka and the red one to Momo. I said Momo could change in the bathroom and Uraraka could change in my closet. Then I summoned bags to match their outfits. When they stepped out I smiled and handed the bags to them. they smiled back and put their other clothes in the bags. I walked with them downstairs. Then I made an Icey Blue sweater and an orange sweater. I made scarves and shades in Pink, Red, Orange, and Icey Blue. I smiled at them all and sent Kacchan and Shoto to change into the sweaters. I talked with Denki and the girls about school and music and other things. The other men were talking also. I saw that it seemed that Toga had taken a fancy to Uraraka and Uraraka had taken a fancy to her. I smirked and Toga caught me. I giggled and told a joke. Everyone started laughing and I remembered that the builder should've built Shoto's room I smiled. "Hey, guys wanna see Shoto's room and show Kacchan his room?" they all nodded and we walked over to the guys. "Kacchan, Shoto!" I called everyone turned to me and I smiled. "Wanna see your rooms?" they nodded and I led the way to Kacchan's room first. It was a medium-sized room with an orange and black bed. I had a desk, a closet, a bathroom, and some room for Kacchan to decorate it. He looked amazed and I smiled he gave me a thumbs up and we moved to Shoto's room. It was a more traditional Japanese room. He liked it a lot but his face remained cold I smiled at him when he turned around and looked at me. He moved over to me and gave me a hug. It didn't shock me much because I had gotten good at reading his emotions with or without my quirk.
