บท 84: She Broke My Heart

Red's POV

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked Destiny right after I got inside her room.

"Yes," she replied timidly, and I wondered why she sounded a bit different, and she was wearing something unusual.

Don't get me wrong—I love watching her in those shorts and crop tops. However, my fiancee only wore these types of clothing at the beach. Tonight, she was dressed differently, and even her hair looked messy.

I could tell something was bothering her, and I needed to apologize for not seeing her before I left for a one-week business trip.

"I am sorry. It was an unexpected trip; please forgive me," I mumbled as I approached her. Her eyes got bigger, and I could see the horror on her face.

"Why did it seem like you were not excited to see me? I had been away for one week, and I miss you so much, my love." I added as I put my arms around her waist, and I could tell that something was off.
